We are based in Charleston, SC, but love to travel! At home, we're blessed with our four cats Penny, Fennec, Kuzco, and Olive. We love spending time at home together and being with family & friends, but also enjoy the occasional night out where we will never say no to espresso martinis!

This is our philosophy

We have an excitement and passion for filmmaking that has only grown over the years. While providing the best client experience and sharing extraordinary moments is special, we also believe in delivering an artfully crafted film to preserve memories for years to come.

Madeline

Joe

Born and raised in Charleston, SC, the beach, warm weather, the food, and hospitality made it hard for her to leave. She stuck around for college, and graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Hospitality & Tourism Management. 

Throughout college, she discovered her love for film. She started her journey filming live sports thinking that was the direction her career was headed in, and thankfully she did, because that's how she met her husband Joe! A year later, she was introduced to the wonderful world of weddings and has never looked back!

Her belief in love goes beyond weddings and extends to those who do not have a voice - animals. She has dedicated the majority of her life to saving animals and working with wildlife rescues. From horses, to turtles, to ducks, to cats and dogs, she's had it all. Recently, she has co-founded a non-profit for feral cats in the Charleston community - Hope For Feral Hearts. This is a huge passion project for her, and she cannot wait to see how many feline lives they impact in the future!

   

Joe packed up his bags from Littleton, Colorado and ventured South to Birmingham, Alabama for college where he received his Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. There he played collegiate soccer, and after graduation, continued to play professionally for 7 years!

He was the starting goalkeeper for the Charleston Battery, which was the tie to Madeline's summer internship where they met. Joe then continued his professional soccer career and played in Haifa, Israel and then back in his home state of Colorado in Colorado Springs. He retired at the end of the 2023 season, and officially became an integral part of Kuzminsky Films.

In his free time, you can find Joe in his wood shop or in the garage working on his car - currently a 1993 Toyota MR2. Like Madeline, he also loves animals, traveling, cooking, and is currently in his sourdough dad era! 

We believe that film truly allows you to relive your wedding day over and over as if you were actually there again, seeing your love story play out right before your eyes. We said "I do" in October of 2023 and have a wedding video ourselves that we frequently look back on. It is one of the most amazing memories we have that we cannot wait to share with our future children!
